Plug in. Join the HouseWaves Wi-Fi on your phone or laptop.

Step 2 — Enter home Wi-Fi credentials in HouseWaves browser setup page to connect speaker to your network

2. Join Your Network

Open a browser. Click on your Wi-Fi. Enter your password.

Step 3 — Music Assistant automatically discovers HouseWaves speaker — click Add and begin streaming

Name brand speakers (Sonos, Alexa, Google, Wiim) require custom integrations, tricky workarounds, custom code, proprietary apps or worse. Sometimes they work, if you enjoy high maintenance projects...

I wanted a speaker built to work with Home Assistant.
Open source, locally controlled and ready out-of-the-box.
